About us

Agents of Beauty was created by Michelle Mae and Simone Iredale to help provide talented makeup artists, hair artists, photographers and videographers for creative projects in Sydney and beyond. We also work with individuals who need an original and dedicated team to meet their beauty needs for a special event, wedding or project.

Our team of makeup artists and hair artists have worked within the international beauty industry for over 10 years in fashion, editorial, magazines, television, film, theatre, events and weddings.

Meet Michelle and Simone

Michelle recently returned to Sydney after an 8 year stint in London where she perfected her skills in the high-octane world of fashion, television and film. Michelle was a hair and makeup manager for a photographic studio in London and also freelanced regularly for television documentaries and programs across the UK.

Michelle has also worked extensively in the film industry as a casting agent for actors, extras and models, and in costume design for the UK’s leading costumier ‘Angels’.

Simone is a highly regarded and professional hair and makeup artist with extensive experience in fashion, photography, editorial, television, film and weddings. Simone works extensively with ACP and Pacific Magazines, particularly New Idea and Woman’s Day, along with celebrity clients such as Wayne Cooper, collaborating seasonal advertising campaigns and look-books.

Simone's Australian and international celebrity clients include the Pussycat Dolls, Kate Waterhouse, Kate Richie, Antonia Kidman, Mimi Macpherson and many more.

Michelle and Simone now work together as co-owners of Agents of Beauty.
